SCC Dominates in Win over Long Beach City College

Santiago Canyon continued its strong play as of late with a convincing 93–66 win over Long Beach on December 17, improving to 10–3 on the season. The Hawks controlled the game with balanced scoring and consistent energy on both ends, gradually pulling away as the night went on.

Matt Mendias led the way with 18 points on efficient shooting, while Chico Lopez matched him with 18 points and added 11 rebounds to anchor the interior. Cayden Hong provided a big lift off the bench, knocking down five three-pointers on his way to 16 points and five assists.
