Melissa ISD Partners with Children’s Health to Offer Telehealth at School
Melissa ISD is excited to announce our partnership with Children's Health℠ Virtual Care to offer your student School-Based Telehealth and Telehealth at Home. With your permission, the school nurse will use video technology to connect your child with a Children’s Health provider. Your child can be diagnosed and have prescriptions sent to your pharmacy, all without having to leave school or you having to leave work, in most cases. Elementary Students Create Valentines for Veterans
Students across all four Melissa ISD elementary campuses participated in the Valentines for Veterans program in January by creating over 1,400 handmade Valentines. The primary goal of the Valentines for Veterans program is to spread love and gratitude to local veterans on Valentine’s Day. The cards and messages were collected by representatives from the Office of State Representative Keith Self and will be distributed to local VFW posts.
