Let’s Finish This Year Strong!
It has been a tough year for everyone. We are getting close to the end of the school year that will go down in history. Even though we are getting close, it’s not time for the kids to start shutting down yet. It’s actually time to think about finishing this year strong! I recently read an article titled “4 Ways to Help Your Student Finish the School Year Strong” at Scholastic.com. This article gives 4 helpful hints to help your child finish this school year strong. The article suggests:
· Have a “Gear Check”. - Make sure your students have the supplies that they need in order to be successful at school.
· Be a “Good Example”. - Speak positively about school. Encourage your child to do their best work.
· Keep those routines going at home. - It is still important to make sure your child has that set bedtime and is getting the proper amount of rest.
· Set reasonable goals with your child. -Sit down with your child and set some goals for them to accomplish until the end of the school year.
These are great suggestions to help your child finish strong. We can do this!
