7 weeks left....
Hello Falcon Families:
It's hard to believe that we only have roughly 7 weeks left in this school year. We kicked off STAAR testing last week with our RLA test and continue this week with our Science and Social Studies tests. Our 6th and 7th grade classes will remain on regular schedule since these tests only involve 8th grade and a few 7th graders.
This week and weekend we had several students compete in competitions for VASE and our Construction classes. Please be on the lookout on our Facebook page celebrating these amazing students and their accomplishments.
We are gearing up for our 6th annual Fine Arts Fiesta! The flyer with the information is located below, we really hope you can bring the family for food, fun and music.
With the 7 weeks remaining it school, we wanted to share some very important information pertaining to summer school. This year there will NOT be summer school for middle school. This means that your student will need to meet the expectations in the grading guidelines or they will be retained in their current grade. If you have questions pertaining to the grading guidelines, please reach out to the counselors.
Please take a moment to read through the information below. We appreciate all your support, and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Nicole Rosas-Saunders, Principal

Tardy Sweeps....what are they and why are they done?

Tardy Sweeps:
If your student is caught in a tardy sweep, it result in a day of ISS. Tardy sweeps are announced during the passing period by admin with at least 3:00 mins left in the transition period. If your student is not in the room when the tardy bell rings, they are escorted to ISS for the remainder of the day. Admin performs these sweeps. The ISS will either be served that day or scheduled for the next day.
