The first six weeks has ended and we are sprinting through the fall semester. We appreciate the support and dedication that you as a family give us here at Stanton Elementary. October will be a wild month, with several days out of school, so please make sure that every day your child should be here, they are, we do not want them to miss out on any learning opportunities. We have started over our lunch attendance incentive - each child who has no unexcused absences will receive two coupons for you to eat lunch on a day of your choosing. Also, students will good attendance and passing grades will be taken to the senior pep rally on October 27, 2023.

• Please do not drop off students before 7:35 - doors do not open and students are not supervised prior to then.
• We will have a flu shot clinic open to ALL students 8 years and older on October 10, 2023 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Information and consent forms are on the QR codes below.
  

October 2 - Comp Day - No School

October 11 - 1:00 release for students, we will schedule parent conferences for the afternoon.

RLA teachers in 3-5 are staring their non-fiction unit. You can help your child and their teacher by talking them through the sequence of the plot using the chart above.

During counseling lessons the 2nd 6-Weeks, we will talk about emotions. We'll discuss how we have various emotions, both positive and negative. We will work on identifying emotions, communicating our feelings appropriately, & building coping skills for big feelings.
