Tiger Talk
October 13th
Thank you to everyone that was able to attend our Goodies with Grands on Friday. We had a wonderful turn out and saw lots of smiling faces. Planning and preparing for an event that large takes many people, much time, and loads of energy so I want to thank our kitchen gals for all their help with cookies and lemonade. Our custodial team for assisting with preparation and clean up, and all other staff members that decorated, gathered supplies, modified their schedule to assisted in any way at all. It takes a team and our Tiger Team is top notch!
On Saturday FBLA hosted their annual Fall Festival. It was nice to see so many of our Elementary Tigers in attendance. I know many families were balancing youth sports schedules yesterday so it made for an all over the place kind of day. Please know we appreciate your support.
Tomorrow is Fall Field Day. We have taken the water activities off the schedule given the high temp is forecasted to be in the 60s. In place of towels and a change of clothes please be sure your child has a jacket or hoodie and that they wear appropriate shoes for running. We are looking forward to a day of team building and fun to wrap up our first quarter. A huge thank you to Coach Kahrs and the specials teachers that assist with making this event so much fun for our kids and teachers.
