This year, to streamline communication, we decided to make a one-stop-shop for all things Hillcrest. This site will help guide parents on what is going on at Hillcrest and who to contact for various questions. This site will be upgraded regularly.
When our new website administrators are trained, we will also update our website with the same information.
The goal is to have the same information in three different platforms to make it readily accessible.

What is ASP?
Academic Success Program (ASP) is more than college application assistance program. ASP works with students at every level to prepare them to be college-ready by graduation. At the core of every ASP high school campus is the ASP College Advisor, a full-time expert, that tailors the program to the needs of individual campuses. With the direction, mentoring, and motivation of the ASP College Advisor, students begin preparing for college as early as the 9th grade. Students and families receive personalized college guidance based on their family’s needs, SAT/ACT preparation and registration assistance, parent meetings, writing workshops and college essay assistance, professional resume assistance, college interview seminars, college field trips, and financial aid workshops. At every step of the way, the ASP College Advisor is there to help the students navigate the labyrinth that is today’s college admissions process. Generally, this type of personal attention can only be had by the wealthiest of students at the best private schools. ASP makes it possible for all students to receive the same attention at no cost to the student.

Back to School Guide
First Day Schedules
If possible, students should check Powerschool to determine their 5th period class before entering the building on the first day of school. We will have student's names and their 5th period posted around the building, as well. Your fifth period teacher will have a copy of your complete schedule.
If there are any issues with a student's schedule on Day 1, the student will go to the library during that period ONLY.
A period with no classes scheduled
Two classes scheduled for the same period
Enrollment in a class that has already been completed
Missing a program requirement for the grade (e.g, no math class)
A senior missing a course required for graduation
**If you see any of these issues, you can complete this change request form: https://forms.gle/YFaUA1g6aqHyDcUS7. Only complete it once as several responses will slow down the process.**
Still need a backpack?
We will be handing out clear backpacks at each morning arrival entrance.
Food Deliveries
For safety reasons, students are not permitted to receive food deliveries during school hours.
