A Message from the Principals
Good Morning Muraski Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you well, and maybe feeling a bit lucky with the passing of St. Patrick's Day! We are less than two weeks away from Spring Break and have so many fun things happening at Muraski. Our PTA has planned several events, so make sure you take a look at those. Enjoy the sunshine and hopefully warming temperatures stay with us through our break.
Have a great week!

Senate Bill 288 - Erin's Law
As a part of Senate Bill 288 (SB 288), school districts must provide students in grades kindergarten through six developmentally appropriate instruction on child sexual abuse prevention, including information on available counseling and resources for children who may experience abuse. To meet the requirements of the law, our school counselors will be teaching lessons to our K-5 students from a supplemental component of our Second Step program, Child Protective Unit.
Concepts that will be included are:
Gr. K & 1 - The Always Ask First Rule
Gr. 2 & 3 - Safe & Unsafe Touches
Gr. 4 & 5 - Keeping Yourself Safe
If you do not wish for your child to participate in the child protection curriculum, please sign and return the opt-out form (linked below) by March 24th.
