Empathy and Engagement
Panther of the Week
Ms. Ana
I want to give a Special Thank You to Ms. Anastasia Bolling. On Tuesday, she was nothing short of a superstar in helping me clean my classroom. It was a complete disaster, and she jumped right in, offering support without hesitation. Her teamwork and positive attitude made all the difference, and I truly couldn’t have gotten it done without her.
Ms. Gilyard
With gratitude
Thank you for the incredible start to the school year. We’ve returned from summer and stepped right into the work we’ve been planning for—and it’s clear that we’re ready.
This week brought its share of challenges, but I saw you meet them head-on. You listened, adapted, and supported students and each other with clarity and care. Your actions showed real commitment—not just to your roles, but to the people behind them.
What stood out most was how present and engaged you were. You didn’t just do the work—you owned it. You made thoughtful decisions, showed patience, and stayed focused on what matters: creating a space where every student feels seen and supported.
There will be more tough moments ahead, but I’m confident in our ability to face them together. What we’re doing is hard, but it’s meaningful—and it’s making a difference.
Thanks for showing up, for staying steady, and for helping build a school that reflects our values in action.

Waldo Walle
Bussing at the start of the year is WILD! Walle goes above and beyond organizing all of the bussing, connecting with families, and solving the huge number of bus issues we run into. I appreciate what he does for us and how well he does it! Thank you!
