WHS Baseball Team Earns National Academic Excellence Award

The Wenatchee High School Spring Baseball team has been honored with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award. This recognition celebrates ABCA member teams across all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year. The WHS team achieved an impressive 3.45 GPA.

This latest accolade follows the Wenatchee High School baseball team's previous achievement of being named the 4A Academic State Champion for the 2024 season by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA). The Academic State Champion title is awarded to varsity teams with the highest average GPA in their sport for their classification

The girls' soccer team also won their game at Davis an incredible 6-0! Congrats on your early wins this season, ladies!

Athletics Scores Big with T-Mobile $5K Fridays Win

Wenatchee Athletics is thrilled to announce that we have been selected as a winner in T-Mobile's #FN5GL $5K Fridays sweepstakes! This incredible win brings a $5,000 award to support our ongoing efforts and football initiatives.

T-Mobile created Friday Night 5G Lights to connect communities and fuel the passion for high school football, and we are honored to be recognized for our dedication and spirit. This significant contribution will help us continue to provide exceptional opportunities for our student-athletes.

We want to keep this momentum going! Our school was chosen as one of 50 randomly selected winners each Friday from July 17th to September 12th, contributing to a total of 450 winners.

Help us get to the finish line for the grand prize, by sharing posts on social media about WHS school pride and community involvement Tag @TMobile and @Wenatchee_Athletics (Instagram) @wenatcheeathletics (Facebook) and use both hashtags #FN5GL and #Sweepstakes on every post.

Stay tuned for details on our upcoming check celebration at a home game, where we will officially commemorate this fantastic achievement! Let's continue to show our Panther pride and keep striving for excellence!
