April Parent Events

This support group is an opportunity for families of students who are considered Medically Fragile in their IEP to share experiences and resources. Join us from 6:30 -7:30pm.

The Autism Parent Education group will be combined with the Transition Support Group this month where Justin Pine (LISD Transition Specialist) will be speaking and providing resources specific to the needs of our families with students with Autism. The focus will be on equipping families for transition needs for students ages 3-9 however, additional resources for older aged transition needs specific to Autism will be provided as well. Join us from 6:30 -7:30pm.

This meeting is for all new Special Programs families, whether you're currently in Special Programs, or are seeking information on services in LISD. During this session, participants will learn about the special programs department and how to navigate our resources. You will also have an opportunity to meet other families and learn about what helped make their journey in Special Programs successful. Join us from 6:30 -7:30pm.
