Message from our Principal
Dear Washington-Caldwell Families,
We are proud to invite our families and community to join us for our Annual Veterans Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 11th, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
This special morning is an opportunity for our school community to come together to recognize and honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Their courage, sacrifice, commitment, and dedication to our country have helped protect the freedoms and ideals that we hold dear.
Our celebration will begin with a Veterans Day Breakfast at 8:00 a.m., providing an opportunity for our veterans, families, and school community to gather in fellowship and appreciation. Following breakfast, we will hold a special assembly featuring guest speakers who will share reflections on service, sacrifice, patriotism, and the importance of honoring those who have served our nation.
Whether you are a veteran yourself or have a family member, friend, or neighbor who has served, we warmly encourage you to invite them to join us. It would be our privilege to welcome and recognize them as we express our heartfelt gratitude for their service.
At Washington-Caldwell, we believe it is important for our students to understand that the freedoms we enjoy today have been preserved through the dedication and sacrifices of generations of Americans. Veterans Day gives us a meaningful opportunity to share that appreciation with our students and community.
We hope you will join us for this special morning of gratitude and celebration as we honor those who have served.
Sincerely,
Kevin
