Annual Family check-In CLOSES TONIGHT!

The Annual Family Check-In is available on Parent Portal beginning March 2nd. A parent/guardian in the student’s primary household must review (and update as needed) the student’s household information, emergency contacts, health updates, and annual permission agreements.

Login to your Parent Portal account via the Infinite Campus Parent mobile application or by directly visiting this website address https://thompsonco.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/thompson.jsp

Click on “More” located on the bottom left side of the Campus Parent Portal Home Page.

Then click on the “Annual Family Check-In” link option.

A new display will appear to confirm the school years’ annual update to be completed, and the ‘Start’ button on the far right side of the screen.

By clicking ‘Start’ it will advance the dashboard to the students who are to be reviewed within the update, and you can click ‘Begin Registration’ to access the application. The application will open in another window. Follow the prompts to view and update information as needed.

Once you have completed the application, be sure to click ‘Submit’ and you will additionally receive an email confirming that your application was submitted. Note: If you close the application before completing it, you can return to the application following these same steps.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Be sure you’re logged in to your Parent Portal account, not the student’s account.

  • If the student is in more than one household, the link will appear available on the Portal of a guardian in the primary household, as set up in the student database.

    • “Secondary” household parent/guardian can update their household data within Campus Parent Portal under the Family Members and Household links.

  • If you still do not see a link, contact your student’s school to verify household data and request additional help.

Unlock the Joy of Reading

Thompson School District, in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Family Engagement Collective (RMFEC), is offering a two-part workshop series called “Unlock the Joy of Reading” for families with elementary-aged children. The workshops are divided into two grade-level strands (K–2 and 3–5) and are designed to give families simple, practical ways to support reading at home, whether a child is just starting, building fluency, or gaining confidence. The workshops will be held on May 7 and May 14 from 5:00–7:30 p.m. at Winona Elementary School. Each strand will include easy-to-use tips and fun activities to make reading an enjoyable part of everyday life. Dinner will be provided, but childcare is not available at this time. If you have any questions, contact Gaby Salvador at gaby.salvador@tsd.org. (Note: A Spanish version of “Unlock the Joy of Reading,” led by bilingual literacy trainers, is being developed and will be offered this fall.)
