GSA Middle School

Congratulations to Mrs. Maybearry and the GSA Middle School
We are very excited to announce that Mrs. Maybearry and GSA Middle have been awarded a $10,000 PLTW Gateway Grant from Project Lead the Way and Emerson! The grant is awarded to schools in order for them to start or expand their PLTW courses and bring STEM education to more kids. The grant will allow GSA Middle to further diversify our PLTW offerings with some new courses and to purchase much needed updates for our existing resources and programming. We are especially excited to expand into PLTW: Automation and Robotics, bringing more learning opportunities for our students and enhancing our already amazing Robotics program. Congratulations to Mrs. Maybearry!
This past weekend, GSA Middle School students competed in the Regional Finals of the National History Bee and National Geography Bee at Rohan Woods School in Warson Woods, MO. Congratulations to Ganira Imbula, Wesley Gamble, Matthew Nehre, and Mia Mruckovski, who have advanced to the finals of the National Geography Bee, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, in late May!

- Cans must be in good condition and not expired to be counted.
- Social Studies teachers’ classrooms will serve as the drop-off locations for each grade.
- The grade that donates the most canned goods by the end of February wins a donut party provided by admin during an advisory period in March!
