Dragon News

Dear McKelvey Primary Families,

Please see the info about PTO bundles below so your kiddo can get some popcorn each month! Deadline to order is TOMORROW August 29th!

Please be sure to have your white car plate visible when picking up your child, preferably on the rear view mirror or on the visor of the car. When it is low on the dashboard, I have a hard time seeing the number as you are passing. Car riders will not walk out until 3:55pm and the first set of cars won't start moving until about 3:58, so if you arrive earlier than that, you will have to wait longer. Please share this with anyone who may pick up your child.

If you need more car tags, please refer to the link in the Family Digital Hub at the bottom of this newsletter.

Sincerely,
Dr. Christina Pliske

McKelvey Primary is our Kindergarten and 1st Grade school, located at 12657 Fee Fee Road, St. Louis, MO 63146.

We are accepting donations of saltine crackers for emergency purposes if you are able to donate. Please send them to school with your child or bring them to the main office.

Below is a link to our district calendar (click the blue button) as well as a snapshot of the half and no school days throughout the year. We know unplanned absences will occur, but your child's attendance is extremely important. We miss them when they are gone and they miss important learning and social interaction when they are not at school. If possible, when planning for appointments and/or vacations, please attempt to use the afternoons of half days or days off school throughout the year.
