Reporting Absences/Tardies with Corrected PDF
To report an absence or tardy, please call Mrs. Kremer in the main office- 248-522-3541. If she doesn't answer, please leave a voicemail and she will address it as soon as she can.
For absences, these need to be reported within 24 hours.
If you have questions about attendance policies, please refer to the WBSD handbook.
Absences for Vacations
Families are encouraged to take vacations during our scheduled breaks. However, we understand that special circumstances may come up. If a student is going to be absent for a vacation, we have a document that needs to be completed and students can get that from me or Mrs. Kremer. It needs to be completed by the student and parent and includes a spot for teahers to sign off signifing that the student has met with their teacher about their absence.
If a family takes vacation while school is in session, students will be responsible to turn in assignments on time via Canvas while on vacation and will have to take all tests and quizzes within two days of their return. Students will not be permitted to miss midterm/final exams due to a vacation. If students are missing an in person college class, they are open to any penalty levied by their college professor.
