CLEARWATER STEAM NEWSLETTER
Home of the Dolphins - November 3 - 7, 2025
Welcome Back Clearwater Elementary STEAM Families,
As we begin a new week, we want to celebrate the incredible partnership between our amazing staff, students, and parents. Last week was wonderfully busy, and it perfectly exemplified the dedication our team consistently shows our community. Your children had an extra special week because of these collective efforts!
A huge thank you to everyone who made last week so memorable:
Red Ribbon Week A special thank you to our Red Ribbon Committee—Mrs. Dobson, Ms. Folker, Ms. Dullweber, and Mrs. Archard—for planning a meaningful and educational week focused on positive choices. We also appreciate Yaminah and office staff for preparing and distributing all the materials to our teachers!
A Spectacular Trunk or Treat & Carnival Our community events were a huge success thanks to so many dedicated people:
Event Organizers: Thank you to Mrs. Soto, Mrs. Roth, and Mr. Estes for the immense coordination and preparation it took to plan the carnival.
Our Student Leaders: We are so proud of our 6th graders who set up, ran the games, and cleaned up. They were professional and fantastic leaders!
Volunteers & Coordination: A huge thank you to our COFA, Cynthia, for her fantastic coordination of volunteers, which led to a successful Trunk or Treat, candy gram sales, and beautiful decorations. And thank you to all the parent volunteers who donated their time to decorate, participate, and attend.
Our Amazing Support Team These big events are only possible with a strong team behind the scenes:
Custodial Crew: Thank you to Ricardo for helping prepare the MPR for the carnival, and to Tony and Maria for your support during the event and cleanup!
Staff Supporters: We are so grateful to all the staff members who attended and supported the events: Cindy, Tina, Mr. Cantrell, Mr. Estes, Familia Ochoa, Ms. Baker, Mrs. McDonald, Ms. Garcia, Ms. Pucelli, Ms. Prout, Yaminah, Ms. Alexander, Mr. Vazquez, and Ms. Hill.
To everyone who supported these efforts, thank you for making last week extra special for our students. Your hard work and partnership are truly appreciated. Let's make it another great week at Clearwater! 🐬
Celebrating Clearwater
We recently had the honor of celebrating the incredible work of our Clearwater Elementary teachers by presenting at two educational conferences. These events were a privilege, allowing us to showcase the exceptional instructional program that our staff has developed and refined over the years.
On October 15th, we were invited to the STEPcon Educator Conference, by the STEAM Pathways RCOE Team to present "STEAMinars: Integrating STEAM in Weekly Instruction" to educators from across the Inland Empire. Additionally, this past Tuesday, we presented "Implementing WICOR in STEAM" at RCOE's ARC AVID Site Team Conference.
Dr. Stuart and I were proud to represent the dedication and innovation of our entire team. Our hope is that by sharing Clearwater's success, we can inspire other educators to elevate their own instructional programs with STEAM and positively impact students across the county.
