October brought our students, families, alumni, and community together to celebrate what makes Beebe special. From the parade and recognition of our Homecoming Court to the pep rally and football game, Homecoming showcased our Badger pride. Thank you to the students, employees, volunteers, and families who helped make these events possible. Looking toward next year, we have begun developing a Homecoming Task Force to build on our rich traditions and make Homecoming an even better experience for our students and community.

We also reached an important milestone in school safety this month by completing our commissioned school security officer program requirements. In addition to having a school resource officer in every building, we now have an armed administrator in every school across our campus. This adds another layer to our safety efforts. I appreciate the administrators who accepted this responsibility and completed the required preparation and training.

Our Student Advisory Council is providing another opportunity to strengthen the student experience. The council has identified increasing participation in extracurricular activities as its annual goal. We want every student to find a place to connect, develop friendships, and explore their interests. Listening to our students helps us understand how we can create more opportunities for that involvement.

We are also planning for the future of our facilities. Preliminary discussions are underway about potential state partnership funding for heating and cooling improvements at our Junior High and High School. This early planning will help us understand the costs, timelines, and funding opportunities as we evaluate our district’s needs.

Thank you for the many ways you support our students and schools. Whether you lined the parade route, attended a school event, or encouraged a student to get involved, you helped strengthen the connections that make our community special. That shared commitment is at the heart of the Badger Way.

Human Resources Human Resources

At Beebe Schools, our people make the difference. Across the district, our staff creates a welcoming, friendly atmosphere where colleagues support one another, celebrate our students, and take pride in being Badgers.

Homecoming offered a fun glimpse of that culture! The staff members pictured joined in the festivities by dressing up, participating in activities, and bringing extra school spirit to the day. Their enthusiasm reflects the connections that make Beebe Schools a great place to work. Sharing those moments with students and coworkers helps build a school community where people feel they belong.

We’re looking for our next Head Volleyball Coach! This opening is an opportunity to join a dedicated staff, help student-athletes grow, and become part of a community that takes pride in its schools. We’re seeking a leader who will bring enthusiasm to the program, build strong relationships, and contribute to our Badger culture.

If you or someone you know would be a great addition to our team, visit the employment section of the Beebe School District website for application information

Every student has unique needs, and supporting their emotional well-being is an important part of helping them succeed.

Simple mindfulness strategies, such as deep breathing, movement breaks, and taking time to reset, can help students manage emotions, reduce stress, and stay focused throughout the school day.

By working together, families and educators can help students build healthy coping skills, develop confidence, and feel supported as they learn and grow.

Curriculum and Instruction Curriculum and Instruction

October was a busy month for the Curriculum Department. We have been busy attending Professional Learning Communities throughout the district and visiting classrooms. Our students in grades 3–10 participated in ATLAS Interim I assessments. These assessments provide valuable information about student progress toward grade-level standards and help us identify areas of strength and opportunities for additional support.

During Parent Teacher Conferences, we offered sessions to families on ‘Understanding Your Child’s ATLAS Scores’. Our goal was to help parents and guardians better understand their child’s assessment results and provide resources for families at home to support their child.

All students in grades 3-10 were provided with their ATLAS codes to allow families to view their child’s progress on assessments, along with interventions, throughout the school year.

The ATLAS Family Portal can be accessed at the link below:

For resources on how to help your child at home, you can access the ‘Resources for Parents’ page on the district website.

Our Transportation team continues to do an outstanding job keeping our students moving safely each day. After a few mechanical issues with buses this past month, our team responded quickly to address each situation, make necessary repairs, and minimize disruptions for students and families. We appreciate their dedication to making sure our students get to and from school safely each day.

Communications Communications

Keeping your contact information current helps us stay connected and ensures you receive important district updates and notifications. We encourage all families to review the phone numbers and email addresses listed for guardians and emergency contacts. You can access this information in your student's HAC account. If you have multiple students enrolled in the district, please make sure your contact information is consistent across each student's profile.

If any information needs to be updated, please contact your school's front office or submit a Profile Change Request through SchoolStatus Connect.

Thank you for helping us keep our records accurate and our families informed!
