"Do Your Best! Be Your Best! Soar Above the Rest!"
From the Principal's
Hello EACS Families,
Boy what a great first quarter we had with our students. Staff was learning more and more how to help students in the classroom understand the curriculum. Families were taking a heavy lift with working with your children with homework in the evenings, while learning how to fit everything social, family, and mental health wise in along with it! You are all doing great!
We ended the first quarter with a spectacular touchdown! Eagle Academy 7 and The Odds Against Us 0! Sorry! It's football season and I am a bit of a fanatic. With that said, I hope that we are able to keep this ball game rolling into 2nd quarter without too many penalties and fouls. 😀
You are all doing a great job! Please keep up the good work even when it is challenging. Eagle Academy Staff are here to help! We welcome your questions and offer you coaching. After all, we are a team. It takes all of us to gain yardage for each milestone we experience for the success of our program!
We are so glad that you chose to partner with Eagle Academy Charter School (EACS)! Thank you!
Your Principal,
Dr. Lynn Mills

We Need Your Help!!
It's the Law
Families,
Please do not use your phones while you following our arrival or dismissal procedures. Your acute attention to the traffic and people in the parking lot is needed. This can also help with the flow of traffic as we are trying to get vehicles safely on and off of campus! Friendly reminder: it's against the law! Thank you for adhering to this memo.

Thank you for helping us make this a meaningful and memorable experience for our students and the veterans in our community.
EACS Carpool Connections
Our Team has worked diligently to gather information for families to utilize for carpooling to and from school. Carpooling can be beneficial:
- Saves money: Families can share fuel, parking, and vehicle-cost expenses.
- Reduces traffic: Fewer cars at drop-off and pick-up can make school areas less congested.
- Helps the environment: Using fewer cars reduces fuel use and air pollution.
- Can be safer: Parents can take turns driving, reducing the number of inexperienced teen drivers on the road when students are old enough to drive.
- Saves time for parents: Families can rotate driving duties instead of every parent making the trip daily.
- Builds friendships: Students can talk and socialize with classmates during the ride.
- Teaches responsibility: Students learn to be on time and follow an agreed schedule.
Carpooling to and from school saves money, reduces traffic and pollution, and makes the trip more convenient for families. Below is a link to explore this option further.
Raptor Technologies
Parents,
Absolutely no volunteers will be allowed to volunteer in the building (even for afterschool events) if they do not have a background check for the current school year. Please use the Raptor School Security system (click on the picture) to complete your volunteer/background check on the Anchorage School District website. You may also log your volunteer hours. K-5 Conference Scheduler
Families,
The link for the online conference K-5 scheduler is live through ASD. Please book your time with your teacher. Please be advised the middle school conferences are different.
Middle (6-8) School Conference Schedule
Middle school conferences work a little differently than elementary conferences! No appointments or sign-ups are needed. Teachers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you have questions or concerns about your child's progress, this is a great opportunity to meet with one or more teachers. If everything is going well and you have no concerns, there is no need to attend.
To accommodate everyone, conferences will be limited to 10 minutes per teacher. Please come prepared with your questions or concerns so those can be addressed first, before reviewing grades.
Simply stop by, wait your turn, and visit with the teachers you need to see. We look forward to connecting with you!

Nacho Thursdays is an opportunity for our students interested in going to Europe to cut the cost of the trip and for those interested in volunteering at our school! It is an opportunity to just get involved!
The link at Cheddar UP will close Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at noon!

Academic Practice
EACS Families,
Did you know we have a way for you and your child(ren) to get more practice with Spalding phonograms on our website. Just visit https://www.asdk12.org/eagleacademycharter. Once there, choose "Families" then "Phonograms". There are videos made by our very own Mrs. Timberlake. Remember, this is a team effort to get our students the help they need to be successful in our wonderful school.
Sponsor an Afterschool Activity
Looking ahead. We are hoping to find a handful of parents who would like to earn school service hours by sponsoring an after school activity next fall. After School Activities (ASA) will start approximately mid-late September and run through the first week of December (12 weeks) and are typically one day a week for an hour of instructional time. Parents who lead an activity will be able to help fulfill their annual school service required of 16 hours.
If you have a special skill, talent, or hobby that you would be willing to share with students please contact the front office.
Some Possible Activities Include:
Quilting/Sewing
Digital Photography
Dance
