The importance of Assessments

Calling all Parents!! Please make sure your child is on time and ready to learn. We will be giving DIBELS assessment, IReady Reading and Math assessments and STAR AR Reading assessments within the next two weeks.

Why assessments? they plays a crucial role in education and has importance in teaching and learning. It provides valuable information about students’ progress, identifies areas of improvement, and helps enhance the teaching and learning process. It serves as a tool for measuring students’ knowledge and skills, allowing educators to gauge their understanding of the subject matter and identify any gaps in learning. By evaluating students’ performance through assessments, teachers will tailor their instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs and provide targeted support where necessary. This enhances students’ learning experience and promotes their overall academic growth.

Arrival and Dismissal Arrival and Dismissal

Arrival carline

In an effort to decrease congestion during the morning arrival carline in the front and the back of the building, we began opening the PES back doors at 7:15 AM starting Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Upon arrival, students will go directly to the cafeteria until the 7:30 bell. We hope this adjustment will help create a smoother and more efficient morning drop-off experience for everyone.

Thank you for your patience and support,

  3. Building Resilience: Regular attendance teaches your child the value of perseverance and responsibility—essential skills for success in life.

  4. Stronger Friendships: Daily presence helps your child develop and sustain friendships, which are crucial for emotional and social development.

  5. Healthy Routine: Attending school every day establishes a stable routine, promoting better mental and physical health.
