THE BEAR ESSENTIALS

We are going into the weekend with our hearts full of gratitude for our Bear families. This past week was Teacher Appreciation Week. We requested your assistance with this celebration and wow, did you respond! Whether you donated requested items like candy, soda, or Kroger gift cards -- or dropped off other treats for our staff during the week, we are incredibly humbled by your generous response. Our teachers felt your support. You are one of the big reasons why this school community is incredibly special.

Our seniors wrap up classes next week and have final exams. Our underclassmen have three weeks left before their exams begin. Despite the sun and warmer temps, we are still in academic-mode here. Please encourage your students to remain focused through June 11th. We are holding Homework Den all days except Wednesdays. This is held from 3-4pm in our LMC.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and to everyone who nurtures, supports, and cares for others. Your connections makes a lasting difference, and on Sunday we celebrate you.

Camp Med 2025
Wednesday, June 18 – Thursday, June 19, 2025
CMU College of Medicine’s CampMed is an overnight, immersive experience for current high school students who are interested in medicine and other health care fields. Camp participants will experience life on a college campus, staying and eating in one of CMU’s residence halls, participate in a medical curriculum case-based learning module, and take part in several hands-on experiences, just like a medical professional. Activities will include tours, clinics, and more! In addition, participants are led by some of CMU’s best students, current College of Medicine students serving as camp counselors and event coordinators.
