Huskie Howler Winners!
We are excited to share with you an opportunity for our students to earn what we call Huskie Howlers (also known as "Howls"). This positive behavior program encourages students to embody our core values:
- H - Having Respect for Everyone
- O - Owning My Actions
- W - Working and Playing Safely
- L - Learning with Intention
- S - Showing Kindness
When staff members observe students exhibiting these qualities, they can award a Howls ticket. Each week, the student in each class with the most tickets will have the chance to win a prize!
Congratulations to our winners so far this year!

A fun moment captured by our Community School Coordinator, Diana Wold! She spotted these three in the lunchroom and just had to snap a picture. Because, as everyone knows, on Wednesdays, we only wear Yoda...
2024 Christmas
Here are the forms for anyone who could use a little extra support this holiday season, or if you know of a family that might benefit. We have applications available for Toys for Tots and the Gem County Food Program. If you'd like a paper copy, please reach out to Ms. Stephanie in the office at 208-365-4691 or via email at skelley@isd221.net. She can send a form home with your student or you can pick one up in person. We’re here to help and would love to support as many families as possible.
These are due: NOVEMBER 19th
Food Drive!
We’re excited to kick off our annual food drive from November 4th to December 4th! If you’d like to participate, please feel free to send any non-perishable food items with your student—they can drop them off in the big collection box in their classroom, or at the box near the front office inside the main doors. All donations will go directly to support Emmett families in need.
This is entirely optional, so please don’t feel any obligation to contribute. We appreciate your generosity and kindness in making this season a little brighter for our community!

Sweet News!
Sweet Elementary Walking Path!
The walking path at Sweet Elementary is almost complete. Thanks to a very generous donation from a community member the school now has a paved walking path. Students enjoyed the old path for many years until it was no longer usable so this is very exciting!
Learning with 3rd Grade
What a fun project 3rd graders did here at Sweet Elementary. They wrote facts about George and the Dragon Blaise then int he middle they wrote things that they both have in common.
