Major's Minute
Pictured above is a glimpse of the Celebration of Life for Zenaida Habal held on September 21 at the Las Vegas Citadel. Attendees and family loving shared how she made an impact on their lives through food, laughter, raising God fearing children, and serving in the church. She will be dearly missed. We thank Major Daniel Freeman for preaching the Sunday of our return and every church member who continued to serve faithfully at the church while we were gone. I pray that each one of us will remember that we can affect our sphere of influence greatly by loving the Lord and introducing others to Him and the fellowship of believers, like Zenaida. To God be all the glory.

**Note - We are updating our volunteer files. We'll be asking current and new volunteers to complete the volunteer packet. We will also be giving you instructions on how to get additional fingerprinting (now required by law) for those who work with youth. You will not need to pay for anything. We will guide you on how to get this done.**
**Majors Ruwethin will be out of office September 30 - October 4 for Officers Councils.**

- 10/6 Candidates' Sunday with Captains David and Sharon Kim.
- 10/11 Teen Youth Night and Young Adult Fellowship with the Cadet Brigade @ 6 pm (w/Dinner).
- 10/12 Combined Men's & Women's Fellowship w/Cadet Brigade @ 10 am (w/lunch & childcare).
- 10/13 United Worship at Camp Redwood Glen @ 10:30 am. Stay for lunch, lawn games, soccer, crafts, kickball, and ice cream to enjoy the day!
- 10/20 Monthly Potluck after church (3rd Sunday)
- 10/26 Divisional Youth Choir @ Santa Clara
- 10/27 Youth present at Society Tea Party
- 10/29 Santa Clara hosts the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce (Please pray for meeting.)
- 10/31 Candy Corn Way - Trick or Treating at lawn games @ church from 5 - 7 PM.
