Dear SHS Families,
We had a great week at school and had some fun along the way. Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who help make our celebrations, like Trunk or Treat, fun for our students.
As part of my talk with students during Morning Opening. We talked about the excitement around Halloween and the effort and thought that it takes to choose what to wear and what you want to be that day. I challenge them to put the same effort into becoming what they were made to be, Saints. With the Feast of All Saints and All Souls approaching, it is the perfect time to reflect and draw inspiration from the lives of the Saints to help our students determine what God’s ultimate call for them should be.
Also, this weekend, clocks roll back on Sunday as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end. Make sure you roll your clocks back an hour.
If you haven’t already, RSVP to the Parent Mixer on August 13th. I’m looking forward to seeing you all there and having a great evening. See the sign up below for more details.
With the start of November, Grandparents/VIP Day is right around the corner. We will start taking numbers for our brunch soon. So be on the lookout.

November 4- Picture retakes. If your child is taking retakes please have them bring their original proof with them.

November 9- No School- School of Faith
November 10- November Birthday lunch. If you have a child celebrating a birthday in November you are invited to have lunch with your kiddo today. Please call the school office by 9:00am to make your reservation (785-242-4297 ). Guest lunch cost is $4.75. We hope to see you!
November 13- Parent Mixer 6:30pm
November 20- Spirit Wear
November 24- Grandparents and VIP day. Be looking for information to go home next week.
