We have been placed! Anahasana Village will be at 6:45 & Fugue, with Camp Contact & Cold Yogis holding down our frontage between 6:38--6:42. The greeter station will be at 6:43-6:47, and Decentral, Naked Heart and other camps in our village showing up at 6:47-6:52 along F street. While we do have access to E street, we expect to use E street for RV parking.

Vote here for your preferred time! We are looking for someone who can coordinate the food purchasing for our kitchen based on the meals that each lead chef will offer each night. Once this person or team is identified, we will be looking for lead chefs to coordinate a different meal each night of the week! Camp Contact flourishes by having a wide variety of meals from all of the culinary talent in our camp! We order our produce delivered from Bonanza each year based on the needs for the meals we are making.
We've just sent out another invite to our campers to Slack, if you haven't joined Slack yet, please do so that we can all get in synch. There's a #rides channel, there are some geographically focused channels including for the Bay area and DC and soon-to-be others.
Water is going up from 90 cents to $1.60 a gallon pre-paid, with any additional needs costing $2.00 a gallon. We will need to implement systems to minimize leaks and extra use, lets's chat on the #water channel about what we can do, this is a hard impact on our budget.
We are getting together our plan for container transport of gear from the DC area. We are in search of an affordable purchase or rental of a 20' or 24' trailer such as for use for transporting cars, typically racing cars. One option is that we buy a new trailer and then sell it later. If you have any experience or time to search craigslist and other sites for such an item that we could buy used, or help with financing, please reach out to Darrell. We will also be using the DC Container for transport of some items, and may use it extensively if we aren't able to secure a 20' or 24' car transport trailer for the trip to Burning Man and back. If you want your burner bins delivered to you directly at Anahasana Village, please do not buy your bin space from the DC Container, buy it from Camp Contact, we'll put up a link later to make this purchase happen.
We will have a DMV camper work & fun party the weekend of July 24 & 25 in Mineral, VA. This will be a chance to get a lot of our gear together and checked out to be ready for Burning Man, including our Steam Bath! This will also be in support of our Quink Fair event happening in late September.
Load-in for the container for gear to go from the DMV to BRC is tentatively scheduled for August 13th and 14th, however, we may need your bins a week earlier. You can always leave your bins at GlowHouse before this time if you can't make these dates.
We will soon be working on our Photoboard and Workshift calendar, and we need to have easy-to-identify photos of everyone in camp for this! Thanks to Hannah and Meadow, we will have a nice Photoboard and a aew workshift scheduling system!
