Club & Classroom Support

The art department's digital photography class are seeking old Pentax K1000 cameras to be donated for our students to explore and learn darkroom photography processes. This is something they really would appreciate as the photography class sizes are growing in numbers and film cameras are not something we can purchase new.

They are also looking for glass fish tanks for students to experiment with water type subject matter.

Donations can be brought to the main office to the attention of Ms. White. You can email her with any questions at olivia.white@superior.k12.wi.us

Be Brave Boundaries Group

From daytime student counseling visits, to evening appointments, and their presence at our family events, the Encouragement Clinic is an advocate for strong Spartan mental health. Their mission is to provide the best support for life stressors and changes, grief and growth, and transitioning from trauma to peace.

A weekly support group for teens, "Be B.R.A.V.E" (Boundaries, Relationships, Accountability, Vulnerability, and Emotions), has been created to better support our Superior High School students. This group will help show individuals how to identify their own boundary styles and maintain healthy boundaries with others. This program was made possible by the funding raised from our SHS Boys soccer "Kick Out Mental Health" fundraiser".
