JSC Weekly Wave
Week of November 20th
A Message from the Principal
Dear JSC Community,
We would like to thank all of our JSC families who joined us for Parent-Teacher Conferences and the Scholastic Book Fair. We had a wonderful turnout! For any families who were unable to attend, please know that you are always welcome to request a conference at any time you have a concern. We appreciate all you do to support the academic growth, social emotional development, and overall well-being of your child(ren).
We have some exciting events and activities happening in the upcoming weeks, so be sure to read the entire newsletter for details. We are most excited about our annual "Joy through the JSC Halls" event that will be happening here at JSC on Tuesday, December 19th, from 5PM to 8PM. Mark your calendars because you won't want to miss it!
Don't forget, JSC has an early dismissal this Wednesday, November 22nd, at 12:00 Noon. (We will start to dismiss walkers at 11:45AM.) We are off for Thanksgiving / Fall Break on Thursday, November 23rd, Friday, November 24th, and Monday, November 27th. We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving / Happy Fall Break! We will be back and ready to welcome all of our students on Tuesday, November 28th!

JSC News and Upcoming Events
Communication Reminder
While we all understand the convenience and effectiveness of using a communication app to keep in touch, we would like to emphasize that teachers are not required to respond to messages during evening hours and on weekends. Our teachers and staff at JSC are dedicated, caring professionals who work tirelessly to ensure the success and well-being of our students. However, it is also crucial for them to have time to rest and recharge outside of their work hours. By respecting their personal time, we can help them avoid burnout and maintain their passion and enthusiasm for teaching. Thank you for your cooperation and support in this matter. Together, we can create a positive and sustainable environment for our students and staff. ♥️
