Around the School Spotlight

This year marks our 20th Canned Food Drive. The Canned Food Club has been really busy this last week counting all the wonderful donated food items. After three days of collecting, our item total for this week is 2,354! We met our first goal of 2,000 items, and now we are working towards our total goal of 6,000 items. The last day of the food drive is next Friday, the 8th. Bring in those non perishable items and let's support our local families! Great job Hawks! You will find the flyer here if needed.

Morning Arrival

As a reminder, our doors don’t open until 7:30am each day. We do not have staff on duty prior to that time. We’ve noticed several students waiting outside our Activities Entrance beginning about 7:15am. We want to make sure parents understand that there is no supervision at this time and students are often waiting in the cold weather. We’ll continue to encourage our “walkers” to leave a few minutes later (so they’re not waiting in the cold for so long).

Winter Choir Concert - Tuesday, December 5

4th and 5th grade 'Singing Hawks' Choir will be performing seven Seasonal songs - featuring
many instruments, German & Spanish lyrics and fun choreography! Please come join us for this 25 minute concert!

Lost and Found

We have a lot of nice jackets and sweatshirts in our lost and found. Please be sure to have your student check for missing jackets, sweatshirts, lunch boxes, etc. All unclaimed items without names will be donated to a local charity over winter break. As of Monday, December 4th, we will have all items at the front entrance area for your convenience.
