Nike WeeklyScout ReportFeb. 3, 2023

Happy Friday afternoon Nike families,

January is the time when we make goals. We are going to start a whole school reading challenge . The entire school tracked their reading minutes and read a total of 84,430 minutes. The goal was to increase our reading stamina, which is the amount of time we read and to complete the books we read.

We have many exciting things going on at Nike! Below you will see a bulleted list of events coming up:

  • Wed., Feb. 8th- 100th Day of School is February 8th- We would like to invite the students to dress up like they are 100 years old. Get creative with glasses, hair, and outfits. It's a lot of fun!

  • Thurs., Feb. 9th- 101st day of school- To celebrate, we are asking students and staff to dress up as the 101 Dalmations. Your child is not required to participate.

  • Friday, Feb 10th - PTO Princess Ball and Boy Bash
  • Monday, Feb 20th - No School - President's Day
  • Friday, Feb 24th - End of 2nd Trimester - Early Dismissal at 1:10 pm
  • Monday, Feb 27th - No School- MVR3 PD Day
  • Friday, March 3rd- End of Trimester Celebration (during the school day)

It's still very cold outside, so please keep in mind that students should bring a coat to school during the colder weather. If your child needs a coat, hat, or gloves, please reach out.
