We hope you’ve enjoyed a restful and joyful summer break! As we prepare to begin a new school year, we want you to know that our team has been working hard to ensure a smooth and exciting return.

Thank you, parents, for registering your child during early registration. We almost reached our 100% goal—only 5 students remain unregistered. This information is critical in determining the number of teachers needed for the 2025–2026 school year. Your support with registration helped us make important changes and additions to better serve our students.

Please stay connected with us to keep up with all the great activities and events we have planned. We’re kicking things off with our annual District Fiesta at Irvin High School on Tuesday, July 29, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Bring the whole family and join us for an evening of fun, food, and community!

Our Meet the Teacher Night will take place on two separate days:

• PK and Kinder: Thursday, July 31

• 1st–5th Grade: Friday, August 1

  We will begin in the cafeteria at 4:00 PM with an introduction of our teachers, followed by an opportunity for parents to visit the classrooms.

The first day of school is Monday, August 4, and the school day begins promptly at 8:00 AM. Let’s work together to keep all our students safe by following the established arrival and dismissal procedures.

We are so excited to welcome back our amazing Duran Comets. Let’s make this year the best one yet!
