BES Parent Weekly Email
March 28, 2025
From the Principal
Parents,
I am so proud of our students hard work on their iReady Diagnostic. Thank you for making sure they received a good night sleep, and ate a healthy breakfast. Our teachers will use this data to help prepare them for the end of year state test, and to help be sure they are prepared for the next grade.
While on Spring Break, encourage your child to find something to read. If it is a book, they can take an Accelerated Reader test when they return to school. They will be able to put stickers on their AR chart located on the walls outside of the cafeteria.

Reminders
Transportation Change
You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.
Breakfast
If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.
Tardy Bell
The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.
Early Dismissal
Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.
Free Lunch
Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
