PTO PTO

SLA families -

We’re inviting every Salt Lake Academy family to join the PTO and help us make this a great year for our students, teachers and school community.

Membership is simple:
$10 Individual Membership
$15 Family Membership

And here’s the important part: joining the PTO does NOT mean you have to volunteer or attend meetings. Your membership alone helps make a difference.

Where does your membership go?

PTO funds help support things like:

Teacher lounge supplies
Dinner for teachers during Parent-Teacher Conferences
Teacher snack carts
Spirit Week activities
And more throughout the school year!

More members. More support. More school spirit. A stronger SLA community.

Thank you for supporting Salt Lake Academy!

Elementary classes are learning about expected and unexpected behaviors.

Expected Behaviors are those that help a classroom run smoothly and help everyone feel comfortable. In the classroom, listening, cooperating, and using respectful words are some expected behaviors.

Unexpected Behaviors may disrupt learning or cause others to feel unsafe or uncomfortable. In the classroom, talking out, arguing, or not being where you are supposed to be are some unexpected behaviors. Unexpected behaviors also make learning more difficult. When a student has unexpected behaviors, we ask them to stop, think, and change their behavior to be something more expected.

Our family is so grateful for SLA: the faculty and staff are always helpful and go the extra mile. Our kindergartener uses the Beyond the Bell program and Ms. M helps her feel comfortable and safe every day. I know my daughter is being educated and, maybe more importantly, cared for. I don’t know any other elementary school that offers so much support for working families. I’ve already recommended SLA to all my friends and look forward to the coming years!

The teachers are incredible and truly care about their students. Small class sizes make it easier to connect and get help when needed.
