From the Principal

Hello Cherrydale Families!

As you may know, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday of next week look a bit different than standard school days. Every student and their family should have already scheduled a Success Conference (1st-3rd) or WaKIDS Family Connection Conference (Kindergarten) with their teacher for either 9/2 (K-3), 9/3 (K-3), or 9/4 (K only). Reach out to your child's teacher if you have not set up a conference yet.

1st - 3rd grade students will attend school for a regular day starting on Friday, 9/4/26. Kindergarten students have a soft start plan that has been communicated with you through a ParentSquare message sent Tuesday, 8/25/26.

Please plan on entering your conference through your child's exterior classroom door.

We've included a map below to help you out! After your conference, you will be welcome to explore the building.

You may have questions and we hope to answer those when you are here for conferences this week, and we have also sent a Please Read - Important Information post in ParentSquare. If you have not already entered your student's end of day plan, please complete Cherrydale Dismissal Survey 2026-2027, as appropriate.

Medication at School

State or federal law requires that a form must be completed and signed by both parent/guardian and a licensed health care provider with prescriptive authority for ALL medications to be given at school, including over-the-counter (OTC) medications. This form needs to be renewed at the beginning of each year.
