Warren School Weekly Update
January 5, 2024

January 5, 2024
Happy New Year! As we kick off 2024, we are thrilled to embrace the excitement that a new year brings, not only for us but especially for our wonderful students at Warren School. In the spirit of new beginnings, we want to express our gratitude for your continued support in making Warren School an exciting and welcoming community.
Our dedicated staff has been hard at work, ensuring that each day is filled with engaging learning opportunities for your child. We believe that when students enjoy school and have fun learning, their curiosity and enthusiasm extend beyond the classroom, fostering a lifelong love for education.
As we look forward to the remainder of the school year, we encourage you to take part in setting goals with your child and to ask your child what they are having fun doing. Your involvement in their educational journey is invaluable, and together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for every student at Warren School.
If you have friends or family with incoming kindergarten students for the 2024–2025 school year, we have some exciting news to share. We will be hosting an information night for parents on Thursday, January 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Warren School Dining Room. This will be a great opportunity for prospective parents to learn more about our school community and the registration process. Additionally, registration for the upcoming school year will begin on Saturday, January 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to a fantastic year of learning, growth, and shared successes.
Have a great weekend,
Pete Regan
Principal

Lost and Found
We want to ensure all students' belongings are returned to their rightful owners. Our Lost and Found has accumulated various items over the past few weeks, and we encourage you to take a moment to review the attached photos.
The Lost and Found area has recently undergone organization efforts thanks to the dedicated work of AHS student Garrett Wolfram. We appreciate his assistance in making it easier for everyone to retrieve their items.
Important Note:
- Please carefully review the photos to identify any items belonging to your child.
- If you recognize an item, ask your child to visit the Lost and Found area to retrieve it.
The Lost and Found area is currently organized with numbers, and we believe the attached photos will help our students identify items more easily.
Any items remaining in the Lost and Found for three months will be donated to charity. To ensure you do not lose any cherished belongings, we encourage you to reclaim them promptly.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Garrett Wolfram for his exceptional efforts in organizing our Lost and Found. His dedication has made it possible for us to reunite students with their belongings more efficiently.
Complete the 2024–2025 Academic Calendar Survey
As we prepare for the 2024–2025 school year, we need your input about how we can meet state requirements for instructional time while recognizing our diverse community's cultural celebrations and religious observances in next year's academic calendar.
Whether you believe it's best to maintain, add, reduce or eliminate non-mandated holidays in our school calendar, share your thoughts through a short, anonymous survey by Friday, January 5, 2024. The survey is available in three languages:
Your input will be carefully considered, and we anticipate the Ashland School Committee will make a decision on the 2024–2025 school calendar at its January 24, 2024 meeting.
