November 2025 🦃
🧡 🧡 🧡
November is the perfect time to reflect on what we’re thankful for. Gratitude helps children
build stronger relationships, increase happiness, and reduce stress. At school, we’ll focus on
how small acts of kindness and appreciation can make a big difference.
November Guidance Topics
Kinder–2nd Grade:
Digital Safety- At this age, the goal is to teach simple habits that build awareness and responsibility while keeping it fun and easy to understand using the internet.
Thankful Hearts – Learning to express thanks
through stories, drawings, and sharing.
Self Esteem & Friendship- Focusing on helping kids feel confident, capable, and proud of who they are through kindness, effort, and self-acceptance.
3rd–5th Grade:
Digital Citizenship 3rd grade & Cyberbulying and David's Law 4th & 5th Grades
At this age, kids are more independent online, so the focus is on smart choices, kindness, and responsibility while using the internet, games, and social media.
Gratitude in Action – Exploring how gratitude builds
leadership, teamwork, and respect.
Self Esteem & Friendship- Kids start comparing themselves to others more often, so it’s important to help them build confidence, self-acceptance, and resilience seeing their own worth and focusing on effort and kindness.
All Grades: Acts of Kindness Challenge – Students will be encouraged to complete small acts of kindness throughout November.

This can include saying something nice, calling a friend, helping a neighbor, hugging a loved one, volunteering, or donating to a cause.
