Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach Parent Conference Day, I want to thank you for partnering with us to support your child’s learning and well-being. This letter serves as an overview of what you can expect, how we’ll prepare, and how we can work together to help each student thrive. The day is designed to share evidence of learning, celebrate your child’s progress, and set clear next steps with your family’s input. We will begin with a friendly welcome, present concrete examples of your child’s work, discuss goals, and agree on actionable next steps and supports.
The day will follow a schedule that starts with morning conference sessions from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, a lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, and afternoon conference sessions from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
During discussions, we will focus on your child’s growth and strengths, not just grades or benchmarks, and highlight specific, observable successes across academics, social-emotional learning, and daily habits. We welcome your insights and priorities for learning at home, and we will outline clear next steps with timeframes and supports to help your child progress. To help you prepare, please bring any questions or priorities you’d like us to address, share home observations or routines that support learning, and inform us of any barriers to learning such as technology access or transportation so we can plan supports.
Thank you for the trust you place in us and for being an essential partner in your child’s education. We look forward to productive, partnership-focused conversations that support every learner in our school community.
Warm regards,
Will Zwingmann, Ed.S.
Principal
