How your membership money is spent & what does MS/HS PTO do:
1. Scholarships to 3 seniors per year
2. Help provide teacher meals (roughly 230+ staff members at MS, HS, and Compass)
3. SignUp Genius to notify MS/HS PTO members of all of opportunities
Other ways MS/HS PTO has helped the school:
1. Communicating needs of teachers such as: posting messages about tennis racquets that coaches need (old used ones even if strings are broken) and other items that teachers need that you may have around your house
2. Volunteering to send a pot of soup, cookies, water, fruit, or volunteering to serve teachers at school
3. Decorating at school
4. Assisting with the signs for food drives
Do I have to come to meetings to be a member? No, we will send emails and there is the Crandall MS/HS PTO twitter and facebook pages that will keep you updated. You will see SignUp Genius too.
Do I have to come to the school to volunteer? No, you do not. If you do want to be a volunteer at school when school allows volunteers in the building again, be sure to do your yearly background check on the Crandall ISD webpage under the Parent Tab.
How do I know when the PTO meetings are and the location? See the Crandall MS/HS PTO twitter page or facebook page and we will also send an email as a reminder as well.
