Dear Primary Parents,

Next week will be a full 5-day school week, and school will be in session on April 4! To celebrate, every student who is here on April 4 will receive a La Vernia Primary frisbee with their lunch. We’ll also be having a fun picnic-style lunch outside, so please send a beach towel with your child to sit on! Additionally, Coach Hodge has arranged for inflatables in the gym, and every student will get time during PE to play on them!

If your child has been absent, please email their note to mfullen@lvisd.org. This ensures the note doesn’t get lost in their backpack! Please remember that notes must be received within 3 days of the absence.

School hours are 7:25 am to 3:40 pm. The car line opens at 6:45 am. Attendance is taken at 9:30 am each day, so please plan appointments around this time to avoid your child being marked absent. Students are allowed to miss up to 15 days in total (excused or unexcused) throughout the school year.

Thank you,

Mrs. Keck

Principal

On April 10, we are hosting a Bike Rodeo/Family Fun Night from 4:30-6 pm! We are seeking sponsors to donate or help contribute to buying some helmets and bikes as giveaways. If you can assist, please email lvprimarypto@gmail.com.

Our students absolutely LOVE the new playscape! We wanted to let you know that we've noticed a couple of things that need fixing or replacement, and since the playscape is still under warranty, the company will be coming this weekend to remove the slides and replace a few parts. To be safe, we've decided to close the playscape temporarily until the repairs are completed. We’ve been told this will take a few days. Thank you for your understanding!

Make plans to be at school Friday, April 4! We have some fun things planned including a school wide picnic lunch, free frisbee giveaway, AND Coach Hodge is planning for a bounce castle in the gym! Our grade levels are also planning some fun, hands on events you don't want to miss!

Students will be asked to wear bunny ears for their program at the end of April! We are advertising now, so that you can grab them while the dollar stores have them in stock!
