As we recognized National School Social Worker Week last week, we want to give a special shoutout to our incredible School Social Worker, Emily Mitchell!

Emily plays such an important role in supporting the students, families, and staff of our school community. Every day she works behind the scenes to make sure students have the resources, encouragement, and support they need to be successful both inside and outside the classroom.

Whether she is helping connect families with community resources, supporting students through challenges, or working alongside our staff to ensure every child feels supported and cared for, Emily brings compassion, dedication, and heart to everything she does.

Our school is stronger because of the work she does each day. Thank you, Emily, for the difference you make in the lives of our students and families!

In middle school, students begin to discover their unique strengths and interests. To support this growth, we use Career Development Plans (CDPs)—a roadmap that helps students connect what they learn in the classroom to their future possibilities.
