NRESC & The Phoenix
April 2025
Come On Spring!
Earth Day
Students celebrated Earth Day by planting sunflowers, embarking on a nature scavenger hunt, journaling, and creating Earth-themed art using the marble painting technique.
Dude Day
Ms. Tracy's students invented their own holiday, Dude Day, celebrating with their favorite activities—listening to music, painting, telling jokes, and decorating their classroom to bring their unique creation to life.
EPCOT Festival
This week’s feature is the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! Our students planted grass seeds and sunflowers, and they’ll be tracking their growth over time. Stay tuned as we watch their green thumbs in action! 🌱🌻
Wind Energy
Our Phoenix students had an exciting hands-on lesson about wind energy! After learning the science behind it from their teachers, they watched wind power in motion—observing as the breeze carried a balloon from one place to another. A fun and engaging way to see renewable energy in action!
Economics
Students are exploring the concepts of wants vs. needs and goods vs. services, gaining a deeper understanding of how these essential economic principles impact their daily lives.
The Great Eggscape!
Here are April art projects, inspired by The Great Eggscape, from Ms. Tracy's class at The Phoenix.
