Westfield Elementary
March Family Newsletter
Inspiring every student, through every experience, every day!
Lost & Found
- The LOST & FOUND at each school will be taken to the thrift store at the end of the week. If you are missing something please have your child look or come in and see if you can find it. Thank you in advance for your help.
Temperatures:
- A reminder that students are required to wear a jacket if the weather is below 50 degrees. Also, most of the playgrounds are very wet. We would still recommend snow boots at recess until the grounds absorb some of the water.
Attendance
At the School District of Westfield, we believe that regular attendance is a key factor in student success. When students attend school consistently, they are more likely to stay engaged in their learning, build positive relationships with peers and teachers, and perform better academically. Every day in class provides valuable lessons and opportunities that cannot be replicated elsewhere. We encourage parents and guardians to prioritize school attendance and ensure their child is present and ready to learn. If your child is facing challenges that impact attendance, please reach out to us—we’re here to help! Together, we can support your child's educational journey.

4th & 5th Grade Math 24 Competition
On February 25, 2025, a group of 4th and 5th grade students across the entire school district participated in the Math 24 Competition. The competition is a card game where students have to use four numbers to equal 24. Students use multiplication, division, adding and subtracting to find the answers. Our students did great and even one placed 4th in her grade level. Congrats to all of you and we look forward to seeing you compete next year.
