Academy Announcements
Dear Academy families and friends,
April is a quick month but is the doorway to the remainder of the year. Our school is working hard to make this last trimester the best one yet. We have so many great activities in the works, it's easy to lose track. Be sure to read these announcements thoroughly...you don't want to be out of the loop!
- Grade 5 went to Fish School over at the Herring Run this week and are hosting it's annual water day on April 12 as part of our partnership with the NSRWA! Thanks in advance to all of the volunteers that make it possible.
- Monday is the solar eclipse. The AAPC purchased ISO approved 12312-2 Eclipse glasses for the whole school. At the very end of the day classes will be going outside to take a glimpse of the eclipse. As always, should you not want your child to participate, please complete this opt out form .
- Tuesday has been declared RED SOX Day!!! Get your red, white and blue on to help us celebrate opening day at Fenway Park!!! Show your Beantown Spirit!!!
- Tuesday is also a half day of school for students due to professional development!
- April 10th is the Eid-al-Fitr marking the end of Ramadan. Eid Mubarak to all of our families who celebrate.
- Panda Day 2024 is coming up on Thursday! Get your black and white on!
- Parent Teacher Conferences were this past week. We had fantastic turnout!
- Our Spring Book Fair will be the week after April vacation. Volunteers are always wanted and needed. please email Mrs. Dunn if you can help out!
- MCAS Grade 3 begins on Monday.
- Last call for the Lost and Found!!!
