Brief Message From the Principal

Dear Jayhawk Elementary Families,

Today, our entire JES student body had the opportunity to take part in a fun outing to a local event space, where students enjoyed an obstacle course activity together. We are so grateful to our wonderful community for making this experience possible and to our parents for the quick turnaround in returning permission slips. Opportunities like this remind us of the strong support system we have here in Mound City, and we can’t thank you enough for investing in our students’ joy and growth.

Looking ahead, next week we are excited to kick off Kindness Spirit Week along with our Homecoming celebrations! We can’t wait to celebrate school spirit and encourage our students to continue spreading kindness in big and small ways throughout our building.

Family Communication
