iReady Diagnostic Reports for Families
iReady has a feature that allows schools to share students’ Diagnostic results digitally by providing access to the For Families report directly on students’ iReady dashboard. Families will have digital access to the For Families report after logging in to their student’s iReady dashboard and entering our district report code: 1TT7PS on the top right-hand corner of the For Families tab.
PLEASE NOTE: Pop-up blockers must be disabled for the reports to display.
This code is applicable to all students throughout the district. Click this link https://i-readycentral.com/familycenter/understanding-your-students-i-ready-diagnostic-results/ for more information.
Clinic News
Dear Parents,
As the school year winds down, we request that you plan to pick up any medication or supplies your child may have in the school clinic. All medications (prescription and over-the-counter), must be picked up by May 23th. Any medications not picked up by May 23th will be discarded as we cannot keep medications over the summer.
In the event your child requires medications for next school year, please remember to fill out a Medication Authorization Form. Provide the Medication Authorization Form and medication to the school clinic when school begins in August.
Please Note: All prescription medications MUST have a Doctor’s signature in order for the clinic staff to administer the medication. All medications MUST be in an original labeled container with a current expiration date.
Please notify the clinic if your child is planning to attend summer school and will require medication or has healthcare needs such as diabetes, asthma, seizures, allergies. Medication forms and/or health care plans are required during summer school.
Thank you.
Counselor's Corner
1. End-of-Year Stress & Transitions
May can bring excitement and anxiety. Help your child manage stress by:
- Keeping routines consistent
- Talking about feelings openly
- Encouraging healthy sleep, eating, and physical activity
2. Celebrate Growth
Take time to reflect on your child’s progress this year.
Ask them:
- What are you most proud of?
- What was something hard that you overcame?
- What goals do you have for next year?
3. Prepare for Summer Structure
Start planning now for a healthy balance of fun, rest, and learning:
- Look into camps, library programs, or community events
- Encourage regular reading and screen-time limits
- Maintain some daily routines (wake-up/bedtime)
4. Social Connections
Summer can feel lonely without school friends. Help your child stay connected:
- Arrange playdates or group outings
- Teach and model social skills like including others and resolving conflicts
5. Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Talk with your child about mental wellness:
- It’s okay to ask for help
- Everyone has big feelings sometimes
- Listening and being kind matters
6. Final Reminders
- Return all school materials (books, devices)
- Check the lost and found
Communicate with your teacher/counselor if you have any final concerns

PTA Year in Review
PTA Wins Grants, Raises Funds
Hembree Springs PTA was honored to receive a $500 grant from the Roswell Woman's Club that will be used towards our school giving closet. This closet helps families in need at our school in a dignified way with such items as clothing, undergarments, shoes, toiletries, lunch bags and backpacks. One of our amazing teachers, Leigh Wagner, was also awarded a grant that night that will be used to purchase Yoto players.
Our PTA was also the proud recipient of a $500 educational grant from the North Fulton Council of PTAs last week at their annual Presidents and Principals Luncheon. The funds will be used to support afterschool clubs.
A big thank you to everyone who shopped in-person or online with Kendra Scott! We are pleased to report that we raised $504 from the May 3 event.
Fill Out Our LAST Survey!
HELP!! Our PTA School Of Excellence designation rides on parents' feedback. We need YOU to tell us how we are doing as a PTA and a school. This is the last survey we'll ask you to do this school year.
A "School of Excellence" designation, often awarded by organizations like the National PTA, is significant because it signifies a school's commitment to improving student outcomes, fostering strong partnerships between the school, parents and the community, and driving positive, long-term change. It essentially highlights schools that are actively working to create a richer, more engaging and supportive learning environment for all students. We are proud to have this distinction at Hembree Springs and want to keep it going!
Can you take 5 minutes to answer the questions linked below? We have just 16 surveys filled out in English and none in Spanish.
Thank you!

Beanstack Reading App
Have you heard your child mention anything about an app called Beanstack? It was introduced in the Media Center. Beanstack is a digital reading log that students can use to log the number of minutes they are reading. They can earn badges and rewards along the way. If your child is reading at school, home, daycare, etc. they can log their minutes and help us get closer to our goal. The following is a video explaining how to use Beanstack from home. You can always find your child's lunch number/student number in infinite campus or email Mrs. Soberanis: soberanis@fultonschools.org. Happy Reading!

All Stars Wanted
Each week the PE department will choose 4 All Star Athletes (2 students & 2 staff members). If your student enjoys hiking, swimming, baseball, softball, football, biking, etc. Please email a picture to marzetti@fultonschools.org.
