Strong Foundations, Soaring Futures Strong Foundations, Soaring Futures

This school year, we're launching Strong Foundations, Soaring Futures, a districtwide initiative that builds on our district's traditions of personalized learning and preparing all students for lifelong success. All HSD schools are focused on creating campuses and classrooms where every student belongs, grows, and is supported at school and home to realize their full potential as a student and as a graduate. School Behavior Codes Set Tone at HSD Schools

Ask a HHES student how they are expected to behave in class, on campus, and on the bus and you will almost certainly hear "Respectful, Safe, Responsible" in response. While the phrasing varies across HSD campuses, all three schools have redoubled their focus on school culture by establishing clear guidelines for student behavior. Clarity and skill building relating to interpersonal and social conduct is a "strong foundation" that will help our students succeed in a variety of settings and contribute to school environments that are safe, collaborative, and productive.

Graphic that reads: Family Notification Test

We will be testing the family notification system on Wed, Oct. 21

This Wednesday, the Hockinson School District plans to conduct a test of our emergency messaging system. This test will take place at 10:30 am via Apptegy, the district’s family notification platform. Messages will be send through phone, text, and email. If you do receive the test notifications tomorrow, no action is required. If you do NOT receive a call, text, and email notification by midday on Wednesday, please fill out this form or contact your student's school for assistance.

Text messages from Hockinson School District will always come from a 98900 phone number. We recommend that families save this phone number in your contacts. Please note that this is a one-way notification number; replies to this number will not be received by district or school leaders. Thank you for your partnership to ensure that important emergency messages, like lockdowns or inclement weather, reach families.
