Our very own Cameron was featured on San Diego Unified School District’s Instagram page!

Meet Cameron Jackson — San Diego Met High School Class of 2026, headed to University of California San Diego to study Mass Media Communications.

Cameron’s journey at San Diego Met High School taught him the importance of saying yes to opportunities, building strong relationships, and staying connected to community. Through San Diego Unified, he discovered that meaningful connections and shared experiences help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Those lessons helped shape his decision to pursue Mass Media Communications at UC San Diego, where he hopes to gain a strong foundation in a broad and evolving field filled with endless possibilities.

“I want to inspire people to stay open-minded, laugh more, and stay curious. No matter where life takes me, I hope I can make someone’s day or life a little lighter.”
— Cameron Jackson

From learning to leading — San Diego Unified grads are future-ready!

Senior Class “Board Games”

For their end of year project, our 12th Grade Economics class created board games around civic and economic themes. Much like playing the game of Monopoly, players of our games came away with several messages:

  • “Maintain a high credit score!”

  • ”Gain voters on the campaign trail!”

  • “Running a small business has challenges!”

  • “Investing has risk!”

During our Exhibitions this week and next, parents/guardians are invited to stop by and play a game in room K205!
