Hazel Harvey Families,
We are inviting you (or a family member) to eat with your child on the last day of school on Thursday, May 28th. Weather permitting, we will be eating on the lawn. If not, we will eat in the cafeteria. We will be eating by grade level (see the times below). If you have children in multiple grades, we encourage you to have your child eat with their older sibling. After lunch you are welcome to take your child home with you to enjoy the beginning of summer break.
SECOND GRADE will be eating at 11:00
FIRST GRADE will be eating at 11:35
KINDERGARTEN will be eating at 12:10
You are welcome to purchase lunch through the school cafeteria (hot dog and sides). Adult lunches are $4.00. A form will be coming home with your child to complete for our end of the school year family picnic.
Second Grade Families,
Join us for a heartwarming "clap out" celebration on Thursday, May 28th, at 10:55 AM, as we bid farewell to our beloved second-grade students before they embark on their next adventure at CPS. Families are encouraged to arrive by 10:45 AM to join in the applause and well wishes as our second graders march through the halls one last time.
β 5th and 6th grade Clap Out π€
5th and 6th Grade Families,
For all families picking up their 5th and 6th grade students after their grade level celebrations on Thursday at 11:10, we are asking that you park your cars in the back parking lot, like parent pick up at the end of the day. We are going to do a 5th and 6th Grade clap out and we would ask that all parents picking up their children participate! Please line up along both sides of the sidewalk that goes down the side of the school. All 5th graders will walk the hallways first and then make a line for 6th graders to walk through as well. We will start walking the hallways at 11:10-15ish and pass through this clap out tunnel of 3rd, 4th, 5th graders and family! Once the 6th graders come outside and walk through the parent tunnel, please stay lined up and cheer on the 5th graders that will follow them. Students are dismissed to their families/friends according to the sign out sheet you have already sent in. We will also have any siblings being picked up ready according to the sign out sheet as well.
Thank you for joining in celebrating both our 5th and 6th graders this year!
