A Message from the Superintendent

As we finish another successful school year in the Watertown Public Schools, I want to thank you for your continued partnership, support, and trust in me and our schools. The photos included in this newsletter are a celebration of all we’ve accomplished together, including our fun field days and the meaningful rites of passage as our fifth graders prepare for middle school and our eighth graders get ready to begin their high school journey. It has truly been a year filled with growth, community, and achievement. On behalf of all of us in WPS, I wish you a safe, fun, and much-deserved summer break!

8th Grade Graduation

The Class of 2029 is on their way! 8th grade graduation was celebrated at Watertown Middle School on Tuesday. Students were recognized for their hard work and achievement across academics, athletics, and community service.

Good luck to our incoming Watertown High School freshmen!

5th Graders Move Up!

At the Cunniff, Hosmer, and Lowell Schools, the end of the school year was marked with traditional clap-outs and farewell hugs to 5th graders. Middle School now awaits!

Field Day Fun

Our students had a blast participating in the annual field days at the Hosmer, Lowell, and Cunniff schools. Even the littles at the Early Steps School got in on the fun!

Thank you to all our teachers, staff, parents, and community volunteers for making the 2025 field days ones to remember!

Thank You, Retirees!

As the school year comes to a close, we take a moment to thank our amazing colleagues who have done so much for the students of Watertown. In total, our retirees have dedicated nearly 300 years combined of service to Watertown Public Schools.

Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement! We will miss you.
