PTA Pulse: 11/7/25
We’re thrilled to share that our Powered by Lightning No-Fuss Fundraiser raised $26,500 — surpassing our goal! A huge THANK YOU to every student, family, and staff member who helped make this happen. These funds will directly support classroom grants, student activities, and programs that make Lufkin shine.
Now, for the winners…
- Team 7-2/3 takes home two prizes — the donut party (courtesy of Duck Donuts) for raising the most overall and the pizza party for bringing in the most during Coin Wars!
- Second place: Team 6-1 — Each student will receive a free food coupon to Sheetz.
- Third place: Team 6-2/3 — Each student will get a free drink coupon to Sheetz.
How will these funds be utilized? Join us at our next PTA Meeting to be part of the conversation about how we’ll invest in our school community.

Food Shoppe Volunteers – including Mandy MacNaughton for coordinating, and an anonymous donor who has generously supported the Food Shoppe this year! (The Food Shoppe is Lufkin's own on-campus food pantry, providing support to Lufkin families experiencing food insecurity.)

Note: Please allow two weeks for fulfillment of online orders. We will email you when your order is ready for your student to pick up in the school office.
Sidewalk Lightning Bolt Painting - Saturday, Nov. 15 - Volunteers Needed!
If you've got a steady hand, some artistic flair, or just a lot of school spirit, join our painting crew on Saturday, November 15th! We have more than 20 new lightning bolts to add to our Lightning Bolt Walk of Fame and would love to have your help.
