Curriculum Corner: Career Exploration 🦺
Recently, eighth grade Career Exploration students got a hands-on look at technology careers during a visit to Hyland Software in Westlake!
The visit was part of Ohio Tech Day, a statewide celebration of technology held on Sept. 25. Students learned the basics of HTML coding and webpage design while creating their own websites. They also had the opportunity to speak with Hyland professionals about careers available at the company.
The new websites give students a place to begin tracking their achievements, honors, activities, and coursework for future use.
“Students were able to bring back what they made and continue working on their websites. It is a great start to housing the important achievements throughout high school,” Career Exploration teacher Ms. Ponsart said.
